The CZECH TOP 100 award ceremony was held in the Spanish Hall of Prague Castle on Thursday, 16 June 2016. The TPA Gentleman Firm of the Year prize was awarded during the 22nd annual announcement of the firms in the Czech Top 100.
In the year 2016 won the TPA Gentleman Firm prize company SPORTEN, a.s., traditional ski manufacturer based in Nové město na Moravě. The company focuses on pro-family policy and employment of disabled and disadvantaged people. Regularly provides sponsorship, offers a wide range of employee benefits and uses of new technologies friendly to the environment.
Special award was taken by Jan Hudak, CEO Sporten and the prize was handed over by Rostislav Kuneš, CEO TPA. Among the first well-wishers was Helena Sukova, member of the Czech Club of fair play in the Czech Olympic Committee. Award ceremony was held in the Spanish Hall of Prague Castle on the occasion of announcement results of the 22nd edition of the Top 100 most important companies of the Czech Republic, which is compiled by the Association of CZECH TOP 100.
The basic goal of the Gentleman Firm project is to promote the cultivation of the economic, business and social environment in the Czech Republic. The TPA Gentleman Firm prize helps raise the profile of companies that can serve as an example to others. The winner can be a company that not only focuses on its long-term economic development, but also respects the principles of business ethics. Gentleman Firm devotes attention to beneficial areas such as staff development and a pleasant working environment, the protection of intellectual property rights, the development of science and research as well as environmental and social responsibility.
The TPA Gentleman Firm prize has been awarded since 2014, when BRISK Tábor a.s., a manufacturer in the field of spark plugs, was the winner. The TPA Gentleman Firm 2015 is Hennlich, s.r.o., a manufacturer of sealing products and pumping equipment.
